Quadrant

Open to the right opportunity?

You're not applying for a job today. You're putting a profile in the talent pool of the company whose link you followed. Two steps: this short form, then a 10-minute assessment. They search that pool when they open a role, and if they want to talk to you, they get in touch. Nothing from that company reaches you automatically — their emails are ones a person there decided to send. One thing does send by itself, and only if you ask for it: the next screen has a tick box offering eight short emails about how businesses use behavioral data, one a week, and then they stop. Tick it and those eight send on a schedule with nobody in the loop. Leave it and you get none.

What happens to your profile, plainly. Your details go to the company whose link you followed, and they stay in that company's area of Quadrant. People Purpose can see them too, because we run the platform. No other company hiring on Quadrant can search you or open your record: every search in the product runs inside one company's own records, and we do not sell data.

The one way you move between companies, and it is a person doing it. People Purpose does recruiting as well as software. If the link you followed was ours — a People Purpose or Quadrant pool — then when a client company is filling a role you suit, somebody here can put you forward for it by hand, one at a time, which copies your profile and your assessment into that company's account. That is the recruiting work you came to us for. No client company can do it themselves, and nothing does it on a schedule. If the link you followed belonged to a client company instead, that route cannot reach you: it only ever starts from a record already in our own pool. There is a job that used to copy client records into that pool. It is switched off by a server setting, and while it was running it did copy some records across, which we are working through. The full account is on our methodology page.

If that company wants to talk to you, they contact you directly. Role invitations, and the emails telling you where you stand, each have a remove link at the bottom: one click stops those emails and takes you out of the list they search. The emails that just hand you a link to finish a step don't carry it — reply to one of those and a person will take you out. How we handle your information
